As an adaptation nurse during recognition, you earn €2,400–€2,800/month (approx. ₹2,15,000–₹2,50,000). Once officially recognised as a Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft), your salary increases to €2,800–€3,800/month (approx. ₹2,50,000–₹3,40,000), plus night, weekend, and holiday allowances.
Your educational documents and clinical hours from Maharashtra nursing colleges are submitted to the German State Health Authority (Landesprüfungsamt). They issue a Defizitbescheid outlining theoretical or practical differences, which you easily bridge through an employer-funded adaptation course (Anpassungslehrgang) or knowledge test (Kenntnisprüfung) while earning a full salary in Germany.
